IFFO-RME / National Education
Institut Français des Formateurs Risques Majeurs et Protection de l’Environnement (Institut Français des Formateurs Risques Majeurs et Protection de l’Environnement)IFFO-RME), a non-profit association “Law 1901” is a space for reflection and a force of proposals to develop information, training and education actions to prevent major risks to young people and the general public.
Our missions
Developing a culture of major risk in the population, especially among young people
The culture of risk is a term that is often taken up by the media, especially to regret its absence (prises of unjustified risk of individuals in crisis contexts, lack of population preparation, ...).
L’IFFO-RME, by all its activities, contributes to the development of a risk culture, through different levers:
- knowledge of hazards and vulnerabilities (always and issues)
- the awareness by each individual of his or her own exposure
- the importance of keeping “risk memory” while our mobility accelerates
- the need for everyone to participate in exercises in all spheres of life (in school, at work, at home, etc.).
New generations represent the future of risk culture in our country. Indeed, children are the best ambassadors in their family sphere.
