Third night
To close this evening, an exceptional session: the new film by Daniel Auteuil, president of the jury, who will present him in person. August 1942, under the Occupation: Vichy organizes a massive raid of foreign Jews. Gilbert Lesage, a young civil servant, presided over a commission that had to rule on the fate of the internees in the camp of Vénissieux, while Abbé Glasberg worked to save as much as possible. The distribution resonates with our jury: Daniel Auteuil lends his features to Abbé Glasberg, while Luàna Bajrami, also a member of the jury, holds one of the key roles, alongside Antoine Reinartz. Founded on a true story, a dramatic upheaval on courage in the face of barbarism. Cannes Festival 2026, Cannes Première.
