A woman of today

True to his Marseille and social cinema, Robert Guédiguian filmed the journey of a young woman who believed to be free and emancipated, for whom life seemed easy and light — until the day that a violent assault caused the varnish to be blown, revealing the wounds of our time. Built up, she goes in search of a new path to give meaning to her existence. The filmmaker gathers around this portrait his faithful: Ariane Ascaride, Jean-Pierre Darroussin and Marilou Aussilloux. A sensitive and committed drama on the freedom of women and violence of the contemporary world.
