Contest « Short en queer DIY*»

For the first time in the film competition “Do it yourself” or “ *Fait à la maison”, which offers the opportunity to experience a unique collective and artistic adventure, even to enter the professional world of cinema by making its first weapons.

The principle is simple and challenges filmmakers, professional or amateur, to make a fiction film according to certain constraints:

• a limited duration between 2 and 5 min maximum;
• a subject imposed,announced during theOpening evening of the festival;
• a time of realization not exceeding the dates of the festival, from 17 to 28 April 2025.

Whether it’s filming with a phone or a pro camera, real-life shots or animation, participants organize themselves to write, shoot and edit their film under the conditions.

The films received and selected will be screened during the closing evening of the festival, Monday, April 28 at Le Rialto Cinema, at 7 p.m., and a prize of €200 will be awarded to the winner nominated by the public vote.
