In 1957, Jean Moreau, Founder of the Centre Méditerranéen, invited Jean Cocteau, then resident in Cap-Ferrat, to attend the representation of a piece by Garcia Lorca given by the students. Jean Cocteau will become the friend of Jean Moreau and the Mediterranean Centre. He will return regularly to practice his art until 1963, the year of his disappearance.
