Did you know?
As early as 1820, an Anglican cult site existed at this location. The present church was built from 1859 to 1862 by British architect Thomas Smith. In neo-Gothic style, as well as the adjoining presbytery, it adopts the innovative technique of the Pulhamite, developed by O. Pulham who followed the construction site. This kind of cement makes it possible to give the appearance and hardness of a stone with carved decoration.
