Built in 1901, this Belle Époque palace houses the oldest association in Nice. Created on June 14, 1860, on the first day of the connection of Nice County to France, the Société Centrale d’Agriculture, d’Horticulture et d’Acclimatation de Nice and the Alpes-Maritimes formed without interruption the farmers and the “acclimateurs” of the department. Since 1945, the SCAH has formed amateurs. Restored in 2012, the palace will bring its rooms, library, frescoes, architecture and activities to the public. The Société Centrale d’Agriculture et d’Horticulture de Nice will also hold its open doors in order to publicize the activities of the association.
