Wonders and curiosities of the Lascaris Palace

The exhibition is inspired by the rooms of the Renaissance wonders, where scholars, collectors and aristocrats gathered rare, astonishing or precious objects to better understand the world. Naturalia (issus of nature) and artificialia (human creations from technical prowess) dialogue here in an immersive scenography, between science, history, art and fascination for the unknown.

Through this red thread, the exhibition resonates the original vocation of the cabinet of curiosities and that of the Palais Lascaris, originally conceived as a palace of monstration, intended to affirm the power, wealth and prestige of the Lascaris family.

A captivating journey between wonder and knowledge, which reveals the Palace as a place of representation, collection and staging of the world.
