Koko the clownis the name of the main character of the surrealist and burlesque seriesOut of the Inkwell(« Sorti de l'encrier ») pioneers of the genre, the Max brothers and Dave Fleischer. The series mixes real shooting, cartoon and"stop motion"and will be produced from 1918 to 1929 by J. R. Bray Studios from 1918 to 1921 and then Inkwell Studio from 1921 to 1926, and finally Inkwell Imps from 1926 to 1929.
