Baroque mirrors
What if the music becomes a mirror?
Pauline Laurie and Juliane Sauerbeck – violins. Programme: Vivaldi, Telemann, Leclair.
In suspended silence, two violins respond... 🎻🎻
As an ancient murmur that spreads from stone to stone, the sound is born, is reflected, is transformed. Is it the echo that comes back, or its double, elusive mirror 🎭?
Let yourself be dragged through the myth of Narcisse and Echo by two constantly dialogueable bows, between pursuit and illusion. A set of sound reflections, where each sentence seems to call its shadow, where each note finds its resonance elsewhere 🎵.
Through this baroque trip 🧭, the works of Vivaldi, Telemann, Corette and Leclair 🎼 give a vibrant canvas, full of momentum, contrast and delicacy.
Two violins alone on stage and yet a world that opens, rich, moving, fascinating. An intimate and enchanting experience, where the ear is easily lost between what is played... and what seems to come back.
