Olive Jones

Originally from Dorset, Olive Jones is a singer-songwriter whose first album,For Mary, mixes with finesse jazz, soul and timeless blues influences with poetic writing, great musical sensitivity and a warm and singular voice.

Produced with producer James Wyatt, this album highlights the rare talent of Olive Jones to deeply touch his audience. Her songs give everyone the impression that she addresses himself, making her one of the most promising figures of the revival of the British soul.

For Maryhas been welcomed by many media, includingThe Line of Best Fit,Clash,DIY,Notion,Mahogany,CLUNK MagazineandF WORD. The album was also supported by BBC Radio 2, BBC 6 Music, Jazz FM and Elton John, allowing the artist to exceed three million monthly listeners.

Olive Jones recently released a new version of "Color on the Wall", one of the flagship titles of the album, in collaboration with Jack Steadman (Bombay Bicycle Club). After triumphal tours in North America, Europe and the United Kingdom, marked by several concerts at closed windows, including EartH Hackney (London), La Boule Noire (Paris) and Bitterzoet (Amsterdam), as well as the first shows at the Cafe du Nord, the Moroccan Lounge, the Baby's All Right and the Montreux Jazz Festival, she continues her ascent with an important tour of the festivals.
