With this new project Jef Roques takes us on a journey through the music that cradled him during his youth. After having played a Jazz with Bebop accents for many years this accomplished musician gets closer to the music of the Corsica guitarists who enchanted him during the long summer evenings.

It is in order to transcribe this atmosphere that he is surrounded today by first-choice partners of the PACA region (Phillippe Brassoud to bass Benjamin Boutant to saxophones and Alexandre Gaubert to the guitar) to offer us a varied programme from the repertoire of Django Reinhardt to that of singer Charles Rocchi, to a few French songs.

All this with one leitmotiv: let’s Swing!
