Choreographic performance

Choreographic performance « Postures » by the Company ACorps d’Art

Free entrance without reservation (30mn)

This performance builds on Justine Tjallinks’ photographic universe, whose portraits question the social construction of beauty, gender and bodily standard.
Through the dance, it is a matter of moving the gaze on the so-called atypical bodies: disabled bodies, non-standard bodies, bodies in transition, fragile or powerful bodies otherwise. Where the social gaze freezes, class or corrects, the scene becomes a space of reappropriation.
Interpreters explore the tensions between visibility and invisibility, between subpoena and affirmation. The gestures are written in this sensitive area where the body becomes both political territory and poetic matter. The movement does not seek to mask differences but to reveal them as singular forms of presence.
The performance thus questions the viewer's eyes: what do we really see when we look at a body? A difference, an anomaly, an identity? Or simply an existence that seeks its place in the world? In this shared space, the bodies no longer ask permission to exist. They move the evidence. They open another imaginary of the living.
