Lindal
"Lindal", from the occitan "street, principle of...", comes from the encounter between the occitane musical tradition and contemporary sound research.
Chiara Cesano and Roberto Avena transform the melodies, rhythms and sounds of occitane music through sampling, loops, filters and electronics, creating a personal language in balance between popular music, experimentation and contemporary dimension.
The violin and accordion remain at the heart of the project, but are constantly reworked and transformed, giving rise to an organic sound, powerful and in motion, capable of maintaining the link with tradition and, at the same time, to go beyond its borders.
"Lindal" is a threshold between past and future: a music of roots, research and transformation.
