Pierre Marcus Quartet

For more than ten years, the bassist and composer Pierre Marcus has been making jazz scenes vibrating with his quartet, bringing together three high-flight accomplices: Baptiste Herbin to the saxophone, Pierre Eden Guilbaud to the drums and Simon Chivallon to the piano. Together, they form a music that is both rooted in tradition and resolutely open to modernity.

Winner of several contests and prizes, combining rhythmic intensity, lyricism and human warmth.

With four albums, the quartet continues a musical adventure rich in energy, emotion and sharing, where each concert becomes a living encounter with the audience.
