Jean-Louis Gouraud : the world without an eye

Vincent Hervouët, journalist, co-creator of France Info and LCI, member of the Academy of Overseas Sciences, editorialist in Europe 1
Jean-Louis Gouraud, reporter, writer

Passion erases borders. Jean-Louis Gouraud has travelled a lot and well. In the distance: in Central Asia, the Far East and the Middle East, Africa and the Maghreb. And closer to the heart, in Russia. With a pass that assured him (almost) always good reception: his encyclopedic knowledge of the horse. He shared the intimacy of the most fierce heads of state and the roadside stables. He reported from his material travels to many books ( Renaudot Prize, Nicolas Bouvier Prize, etc.). He was a reporter, press manager, writer, prolific publisher and covered with honors. He just inaugurated the first horse museum in St. Petersburg on the site of the cemetery that the tsars had created for their horses, which he rediscovered and restored. The use of the world of Jean-Louis Gouraud is an adventure to be made without eye shadows and a slaughtered flange.
