The Cie Le Sixièm étage invites choreographer Kana Kitty, the most emblematic interpreter of the new Japanese scene, to share this new mixed choreographic creation, merging contemporary dance and Butô. A reflection around the figure of the warrior.Why do men fight? Why is this fascination for war? Who are these warriors in grotesque or sublime armour that haunt our imagination? This is a landscape after the battle. Here are body to body, wounds, weeping, warlike embraces, these are bodies prevented by their shells and their oripels. A powerful proposition to astonishing aesthetics, a tragic farce to contradictory emotions, a poetic of the catastrophe echoing the madness and fracas of our world.
