The adventure began in the middle of the 1960s, under the leadership of Daniel Giorgetti, a young mountain bike frame who arrived in Metz in 1962. The memories are vague and the opinions differ, but the date of creation officially retained by the leaders of the ASPTT Metz is 1965. However, it will take a few more years to see the women who make the club’s current reputation as the women’s section was created only three years later in 1968.
