The Bellanda Tower

The Bellanda tower, originally annexed to the Clerissi pension (now Swiss hotel) was for many years naval museum. Now, this place tells us the history of Nice, its peoples, its joys, its sorrows, its battles and its victories. The scenography leads the visitor to theatrical scenes that retrace 7 major historical periods of Nice with a chronological frise, 3 animated films, and exhibition objects. 52 costumed figures illustrate the evolution of antiquity’s clothing and military equipment to the present day.
