Alan Rodriguez

Alan Rodríguez (1991, San Miguel de Allende, Mexico) is a painter whose practice explores the relationship between memory, imagination and invisible forces that shape our perception of the world. Formed in archaeology at the National School of Anthropology and History (ENAH), he transposes into his painting an approach inspired by the excavation, where each gesture becomes a stratum revealing buried stories and interior landscapes. He was awarded the Prix de l’Artiste emergent de l’État de Guanajuato in 2018 and 2019 and participated in numerous exhibitions and artistic collaborations in Mexico, Italy, Canada and Greece.

Neuro-cosmic Filamento – metachromism

Fibres that maintain the balance between devastation and construction, between time and matter, form the idea of a high and a low, still to the concept of the interna and external that, regardless of the dimensions, are made of an almost identical similarity. Intergalactic neuronal networks would seem to form a universal collective brain, while at the same time the universe is reduced to each individual who has the ability to create incredible worlds by the only force of imagination.
