Immersed in the world of creation from childhood thanks to his father, KOSS grew up in the effervescent wake of the School of Niçoise. The frequentation of the workshops of major figures such as César, Ben, Sosno and Folon acts as a real trigger, opening his mind on absolute artistic freedom.
Rich in this legacy, it quickly develops a multidisciplinary expertise, exploring the fusain, mosaic and painting. Today, she devotes herself fully to plastic arts, painting and sculpture to question our contemporary world.
This exhibition explores the imprint of memory through works combining charcoal, ink and burned wood. My old school loops, formerly subject to judgment, are transformed into a real graphic power. By the maturity of my work as a plastician, I reconquered this movement to extract its essence.
Beyond the writing and traced forms, it is the raw material that takes over to explore the footprints of our intimate memory. In these games of textures and contrasts, the gesture collapses, tirelessly seeking to reveal the essence rather than the simple envelope.
