2nd COLLECTION ON THE NEUROATYPIE

Neuroatypy, neurodiversity or neurodivergence would represent 10 to 15% of the population. What is a neuratypic profile? How does their brain work differently? Why would they be more inclined to addiction? What are the myths around the high intellectual potential?

We suggest you understand why the addictive risk can be present in these profiles, identify the functioning of ADHD and their associated disorders (anxious disorders, opposition and provocation disorders, etc.) and identify potential difficulties related to high intellectual potential.

For this second edition, we invited:

Jean-Pol TASSIN, neurobiologist, research director (Inserm) at the Collège de France will explain why some profiles are more addicted than others.

Hervé CACI,Paedopsychiatre at Lenval Hospital, a specialist in ADHD, a founding member of the French Society of ADHD (SF-TDAH) will discuss the operation of ADHD and their comorbidities with a focus on girls and women.

Melanie DOLIDON,Clinical neuropsychologist, will evoke the myths that circulate around the high potential leading, sometimes, to diagnostic errors or to no diagnosis.
