Console

This neoclassical mahogany wood console, by the sobriety of its decor and its references to the Antique, is made up of a rectangular tray covered with a green marble resting on two amounts with a female bust decor. These supports end with feet bearing sandals resting on a plinth tin. The background is filled with a mirror. The front drawer is adorned in the centre of a golden bronze pattern, representing in a rectangular cartridge, finished by palmettes, two women sitting back to back dressed in antique surrounding a canned high-foot vasque.
Women's heads are crowned here and drop on the front two stylized mats.

This piece of furniture, which entered the collections in 1970, corresponds to the typology of the classic furnishings of the early nineteenth century. It remains a usual furniture of use and use in all rooms of the house, apart from the bedroom.
