La Salle à Manger

The dining room, which has been designed to meet the world’s way of life of the owner, Victor Masséna, is extended by a large hémicycle veranda.
It offers a clear view and direct access to the gardens by the terraces.

It is decorated, like the living rooms, with elements of furniture prior to the construction of the premises, dating from about 1820. The doors of Francesco Tanadei and the trumpets of Carlo Pagani come from the castle of Govone in the Piemont, secondary residence of the Dukes of Savoy until the end of the nineteenth century.

The walls are decorated with gypsy panels decorated with nereids based on dolphins (early 20th century).
Empire style consoles have sphinge-shaped feet.
Ornate the room, a pair of gardeners attributed to Giovanni Socci, Florentine works for Elisa Bacchiochi, sister of Napoleon and great Duchess of Tuscany. A similar furniture is preserved in the Palazzo Pitti in Florence.
The Empire pendulum from a Parisian workshop represents Bacchus with a bacchanal at the bottom.
