One summer 2024

The National Sport Museum unveils its great exhibition on the legacy of the Olympic and Paralympic Games of Paris 2024. From February 11, he invites to discover A 2024 summer, which returns to the enchanted parenthesis of a magical event.

The flame never extinguishes

The Paris 2024 Games made France shine around the world. The grandiose ceremonies, sporting exploits, prestigious events sites and the tremendous popular enthusiasm of fans from all over the world have made these Olympic and Paralympic Games a huge success that undoubtedly marked the history of the sport.

Directed under the precinct of Vincent Duluc, both Grand reporterL’Equipeand President of the Board of Directors of the National Museum of Sport, the exhibitionOne summer 2024 will allow the French and foreign public to revisit this collective happiness and to fall back into a summer like no other. On more than 500 m2, in an immersive, interactive and moving scenography, she will tell the first JO paritaires, responsible, inclusive and open games, and the brilliant success of a French bet, initiated on June 23, 2015 with the officialisation of the Paris candidacy.

A Museum of Games in Nice

Supported by the entire sporting movement, notably by the National Olympic and Sporty Committee (CNOSF) and the Paralympic and Sporty Committee (CPSF), the National Sport Museum, located in Nice in the heart of the Allianz Riviera stadium, aims to make this space a true museum of the Paris 2024 Games.

Medals, torches, sports objects, performances... In total, more than 500 objects were collected in connection with well-safe athletes, but also with the Organization Committee, Olympic and Paralympic International Committees, artists and partners involved in this extraordinary event.

A national heritage, valued by the addition of numerous exceptional loans such as the holding of Aya Nakamura during the opening ceremony (loop of the Dior Héritage House), that of the Zeus Horse, the mechanical horse (Palais Galliera – Musée de la Mode de Paris), the medal malle (Louis Vuitton MalletierED) or the replica of the Olympique Vasque).

In order to leave its place at this great exhibition, the National Museum of Sport is changing its habits and is proposing for the first time a long-term exhibition, which will be held and will evolve until the 2030 Winter Games which will take place again in France.
