In this contrasting program, Lionel Bringuier makes dialogue between romantic Europe and America. After the Schumann Cello Concerto performed by Victor Julien-Laferrière, Gershwin evokes a Paris dreamed in Un Américain in Paris. Finally, Ravel concludes with Suite 2 of Daphnis and Chloé, a luminous and enchanting orchestral fresco.
