THE AUSTRALIAN PINK FLOYD SHOW (TAPFS) was born in Adelaide in 1988 and has since produced in more than 35 countries with almost five million tickets sold worldwide. The members of the band played during David Gilmour's 50th anniversary with whom they shared the scene and Rick Wright.
Considered as the best tribute to PINK FLOYD, greeted by the world, TAPFS has been offering interpretations of remarkable fidelity for nearly 40 years, recreating the experience of Pink Floyd and inspiring a new generation of tribute groups. The show offers spectacular light games, lasers, latest generation LED visuals, video animations and iconic inflatable structures, including a gigantic pig as well as the famous pink kangaroo of the group.
TAPFS collaborated with musicians who shot Pink Floyd, such as Guy Pratt and Durga McBroom. In addition, Lorelei McBroom, a long-standing member of the band, participated in the Pink Floyd A Momentary Lapse of Reason and Delicate Sound of Thunder tours.
Much more than just a tribute group, TAPFS was the first of its kind to fill the Arenas around the world and today continues to display complete in rooms in Europe, the UK, on the American continent and elsewhere. With international training and nearly four decades of history, he remains the most popular and accolades show to Pink Floyd in the world.
