Slovo
1930 in the USSR under Stalin’s regime. In Kharkiv, the house “Slovo” embodies the growth and promise of a bright future for Ukrainian culture. A few years later, she became the symbol of her condemnation.Cinq friends lived in this house and walked a path that led them from hope to loss. One survives at the price of everything he owned; another perish while continuing to believe in the system; A third tries to resist him, at the risk of losing himself.
In the eyes of the spectator, the illusion of a promised future is built at the same time as the decor, before collapse, leaving behind it only the secret archives of executions.
