To celebrate the anniversary of one of them, two sisters rent a cottage in an isolated hamlet. A weekend supposed to do good. But at nightfall, this house is seriously starting to scare. Is this creepy decoy, disturbing warnings, the weird neighbor, or the trap in the middle of the living room... Paranormal or overflowing imagination? A horrific comedy where the tension flirts with the absurd.

Designed as a dislocated scarf film, filled with references to genre classics, Welcome to Mortepeine navigates between laughter and fear through a clever and surprising scenario. The sound and bright atmospheres reinforce the immersion and cinematographic aspect of the room.
