The Mazzika Orchestra, Europe’s first Arab orchestra led by the renowned violinist and musicologist Dr. Amal Guermazi, revitalizes the Arab musical heritage with a harmonious alliance of authenticity and creativity on international scenes.

Under the direction of Dr Guermazi, the Mazzika Orchestra collaborated with more than 25 iconic artists from the Middle East and North Africa, such as Ramy Ayach, Sofia Sadek, Hamidou, and many others, producing in prestigious places to celebrate the richness and diversity of Arab music.

Thanks to his strong expertise in musical theory and performance, Dr. Guermazi brings remarkable precision and a touch of innovation to the arrangements of the orchestra, offering contemporary rereading of classical compositions while respecting their deep cultural roots.
