PV in "Presque Vrai"
With "Presque True", PV makes his personal history an ode to imagination. A lonely child, he invented a world to deal with a family reality that, in many ways, was already beyond fiction. When he became an adult, he summoned this high-colored family on stage: a drunk Portuguese father, a mother who tried to maintain balance, a sister with a filter-free franchise and another with alcohol.
Between stand-up, embodiment of characters and improvisation, PV revisits his childhood and his flaws with a sincerity constantly defused by humor. A very personal story where we no longer know what is true, exaggerated or totally invented — and where it is precisely this border that nourishes laughter.
