Éric Lagadec (Astrophysician & Researcher at the observatory of the French Riviera) and Guillaume Meurice (self-proclaimed specialist of bullshit) offer us a journey through these two infinites. There are galaxies, exoplanets, billionaires that drive into space and dark matter and sometimes gray. We wonder about our enditude, we explore our limits, we push back our ignorance to the infinite... But not beyond...

Eric Lagadec is an astrophysicist at the Lagrange Laboratory of the Observatoire de la Côte d'Azur-UCA and responsible for media relations for the French Society of Astronomy and Astrophysics. His work focuses on the study of the death of stars and the formation of star dust. He regularly observes with the largest telescopes in the world. He is actively interested in the dissemination of knowledge. He published a first book: “Cosmic odyssey, an intimate story of the stars” in Seuil and a beautiful book on “The James Webb Space Telescope”.

Guillaume Meurice has been a comedian since 2007, a columnist on France Inter from 2012 to 2024 and then on Radio Nova where he animates La dernière every Sunday. He wrote (at this time!) 11 books including a “small praise of mediocrity” in Les Pérégrines editions very useful to address the theme of this conference. Touch-to-all, its centers of interest are varied, so that it can create an escape game, make documentaries, lead podcasts or programs like BLAST or Blagues Bloc on MEDIAPART.
